For this release, we have the pleasure to bring you an amazing four track release by Dimitris Michas called Waking Life EP, and it includes two originals plus two stunning remixes. The first track called Simple As That is a strong and funky tech house track specially designed to blow up the club dance floor with its killer bass line and dark vocal phrases. The second track by Dimitris is Gold Leaves and it presents several deep house elements and a more relaxed base construction than the first track, which is also complemented perfectly by a piano at the background and a great work made with the vocals and synths elements, which creates an amazing groove. Ronan Portela was the chosen one to work over Simple As That, and it was a great call as he created a beautiful blend of tech and deep house with some minimalistic arrangements too. The fluid bassline drives the track through while the original vocal lines blends perfectly with the rhodes in a slow melodic progression. A great mix of textures and sounds to delight the audience. The second remix is from JonnyKnox who worked over Gold Leaves to create a refined re-interpretation with a strong dance floor focus, but always with a noticeable deep tech vibe crafted from an amazing low-end groove.
