Pedro Silva brought us this time a two-track ep called The Hoax EP. The first track, the ones that carries the ep name, The Hoax, haves a profound and powerful deep dubed groove with an incredible work in the backend ambiences that are constantly grabbing the attention away from the simple but strong and very effective base and bass lines. The second track, Motium, has a different vibe from the original, with a much more present tech feeling. This track with its continuous bass line and perfect percussion and articulation fxs, creates a fantastic clubby vibe that will make it the choice for many djs. The first remix comes by the hand of two very know Italian producers, Chris-T & Matu, who took The Hoax and remixed it by adding some ambience layers that gives this track a floating feeling, but never leaving behind that characteristic base rhythm that these two has us used to, in a perfectly executed deep remix. The second and last of the remixes was in charge of another known Italian producer, Luca Lento, who decided to increase the tech feeling for Motium and created an even stronger tech track from the original. He did it mainly by changing the bass line, playing around with the low-end percussions a bit more and also by creating a great atmosphere in the backend with the synths and fxs to culminate and close what is a very pleasant but strong groove.
