Hernan Betancur is back, but this time he made it with a special two track ep, called Soul EP. The first track, Soul, possess a very organic vibe that can be perceived mainly by its several layers of percussions and its deep but powerful bass line. The rhythmic elements and the vocal line are the ones leading the groove of this fantastic track, which results in nothing else than a very hypnotic and trippy track. The second one, Debajo Del Agua, has a techier feeling, but much more aimed to the club dance floor than the first one. It includes several cuts, pitch fxs emulating water during the break, synth ambience sounds in the back and of course an extremely groovy combination of bass, percussion and vocal elements that will make people dance for sure. The first remix comes by the hand of the Spanish producer Alex Cruzell, who took the organic elements of Soul and gave it a great club twist with a strong synth bass and a faster rhythm, creating an amazing groove and feeling like a true remix should have. The last and not least of the remixes is from the Spanish duo Slowrats, who took Debajo Del Agua and generated a fantastic deep tech feeling, with many of the original track elements, but giving it deeper vibe and not for that with less groove. The simplicity of which they managed to create this piece of work talks for itself when you listen the ambience created by this remix. A super complete ep and remixes that will definitely be loved by many.
