For this edition we have the pleasure to introduce you to Lucien Jack with his Misfits EP, including two amazing originals tracks. The first one, carrying out the ep name, Misfits, has a soft techno base that builds up slowly beat by beat, but from the first one presents the needed intensity to rock any dance floor. The subtle crazy vocals in the back helps giving a dark atmosphere, alongside the bass line that helps to create this subtle hypnotic vibe too. The second track by Lucien is Flipmode and it haves much techier approach than the previous one, with an extremely groovy bass line and great ambience created with female vocals that also set the ground for the rest of elements. The whole track haves an involving vibe than can easily put the listener into a great floating trip. We also have two amazing remixes for this release and the first one comes by the amazing Italian producer Luca Doobie, who took Misfits to re-work the rhythm from the ground up by adding several percussions layers and a more than beautiful work made with the synth lines, which creates a true deep melody that works perfectly with the strong bass line in the bottom, generating nothing else than a fantastic trippy groove. The second remix comes also by another great producer, but from Colombia. Hassio created a Dub Mix of Misfits reflecting on it a true underground groove culture with a nothing else than perfectly placed drum elements, mixed and articulated with the original synths and vocals, creating an organic groove but with a special club sound that will definitely make more than one listener to close their eyes and enjoy the vibe. Definitely two super solid originals with a great pack of remixes pack to listen and play.
