We give a big welcome to Richard Wasc with his Jalapeno EP that includes three fantastic originals and one remix. The first track called Jalapeno starts with a very simple but greatly found low-end groove that settles the ground for the upcoming sounds. The whole vibe works towards the base elements and some occasional vocals and synths in the backend to finishs round up the idea and work. The second track called Da Gruvv and it relies mostly on the percussions elements present, which are also perfectly articulated with the synth pad in the back working as a subtle texture. Again a simple but refined bass line, generates a groovy tech environment that slowly hypnotizes the listener as the track develops. Again & Again is the third and last of the originals and it presents several percussion layers that helps to build the main groove. In this track we can also hear several ambience elements that contributes to engage yourself into the track's trip, which turns to be very sexy tech vibe with a decent amount of darkness. The remix is from Again & Again and was in charge of Daniel Meister who made an excellent rework of the groove, but keeping also the original vibe of the track intact as any good remix should do. As an addition, it also haves a synth line that softly plays around with a low pass filter and helps to construct a great mood towards it. The delicate sub bass plays a fundamental element reinforcing this construction as well as the percussions, both elements closing the whole vibe of the track perfectly.
