We are very happy to welcome two great Spanish producers to Basswalk, Yamil & Ruben Cubillas, which delivered us two great originals with their Invader EP. The first track, Invader, is a greatly found tech groove with delicate vocals and a sexy funky bass line. The subtle articulations between deep stabs and percussions, alongside the vocals, creates a delightful groove specially made for any club dancefloor. The second track, Reckless, is a single from Yamil alone and its highly focused on the percussions as main driving element. The overall feeling is pretty much as the previous track but with a great twist in the bass line and low-end percussions, which are also working in perfect harmony with the great deal of fxs and ambience sounds that are constantly grabbing the listener's attention in conjunction with the subtle deep stabs. The first remix of this ep is from the amazing producer Alvaro Am who had delighted us with some great hits in the past. His remix of Invader has a strong focus on the rhythms and percussions becoming the perfect companions for the strong and groovy bass line. He took the main elements from original, like the synth stabs and vocals lines, to re-work them finding an entirely new groove but in a fantastic way that you never lose the feeling from the original for a single moment. Another great track with a strong break too that will rock any dancefloor easily. The second and last remix for this ep comes by the hand of the Italian producer Luca Lento who worked over Reckless, but he went into a much darker road than the previous tracks, focusing also in the percussions, creating with them a great riff that sounds most of the time, hypnotizing slowly while it grabs the attention away from the strong deep bass that can make some walls to tremble with ease. Another fantastic remix with an amazing deep and dark vibe to complete this massive release.
