In this edition we have the pleasure to bring you an amazing collaboration between Matthew Skud & Simone De Biasio with their Follow Ur Dream EP. The first track, carrying out the ep name, presents a strong and powerful deep bass that fits perfectly with the groove created by the semi-dragged base elements, which at the end of each bar gives this slow down effect. These elements together make a terrific ground for the phrase vocals, which are constantly grabbing the attention alongside synth stabs during the breaks. A great musical piece indeed with a lot of energy to give. The second track, I Believe It, holds up a much more minimalistic approach than the previous one with nothing else than pure low-end groove, without leaving the underground tech soul aside of course. Bpm's are higher so the intensity, and with it comes with a rock solid bass line that drives this track through, getting also perfectly articulated with several cuts and short fxs which finishes adding a nice quota of dynamism alongside the vocals present in the breaks. This track also comes with an Instrumental version for the rhythm purists. We have only one remix for this track and ep and it was in charge of Diego Astaiza who grabbed the base elements from I Believe It and added several melodic synths lines to the track creating a small riff, which will be present during almost the whole track, but always driven by a funky tech bass line that lights up the groove fantastically.
