Getting deep into this highly promising 2016, we have the pleasure to introduce you to Freak The Disco with his Enough Speed To Beat Time EP, including 4 fantastic original tracks. The first one Guest Bindle is where he starts with a very deep and elaborated minimalistic track, where the bases and articulations melt together creating a great groove with a very relaxing and deep selection of ambience sounds too, which appears during specific moments only. The second track called Miori Ao presents a different approach than the first one, with a much more dance floor aimed groove supported by a funky bass line and complemented by several deep tech sounds, vocals and subtle sounds that creates a fantastic trippy vibe with a strong minimalistic soul. The long break helps generate a great anticipation before the release and also helps to create the special vibe this track emanates. The third track was made in collaboration with Prince.L, and it's called Cats Pajamas. It's a long tale of little over nine and a half minutes, where we can appreciate the deep rhodes stabs setting the path for the groove, created mainly by a break beat combination between the kick, bass line and low-end percussions. All this continues until the first break where the vocals make their entrance to complement the groove and make the intro for the next set of sounds, which are evolving constantly during the whole track, creating a more than interesting and hypnotic groove. The last and not least of the tracks is Enough Speed To Beat Time, where we can hear a strong emphasis in the percussive elements foundation for the groove creating, alongside the funky bass line that rounds up the groove perfectly. Several appearances of the base elements in combination of a simple synth riff in the backend are the responsible to create the dynamism in this track and help to construct it beat by beat.
