Hermes Bertoni makes his debut in Bad Barbie with a fantastic two track ep called Dreaming EP. The first track Timeless presents a rigid tech house base with a lot of percussions and organic elements in the backend that all together, creates a beautiful ambience and vibe with a soft hypnotic touch. The reversed and re-worked vocals also adds their share of weirdness and underground aura to track as well, followed by a powerful deep bass that finishes to round up the groove perfectly. The second track Dreaming has a more techno soul and approach represented mainly by the base elements and bass line selection, which both mixes perfectly with the 909 sounds and noisy ambiences in the background. It also presents a beautiful hypnotic vibe once the intro is done, created mainly by a delayed synth riff that hits your ears with a great stereo ping-pong effect. We also have for this ep an amazing remix from David Zor, who put his hands over Timeless to give it a much funkier and techier groove, focused mainly in the work with the percussions and their respective articulations, followed by a strong bass line that can shake away any dance floor crowd very easily. Of course he kept the vocal elements from the original track and fxs so we can still fell the original vibe intact as any great remix should do.
