The Brazilian duo, Wender A. & Rods Novaes, delivered a fantastic four track ep, full of percussions, rhythms and a delightful amount of house. Ciranda presents a simple base rhythm that makes perfect ground for the melodic percussions and for the deep ambiences in the back. All these elements together give a soft hypnotic feeling to this track. Corre Cutia plays around with a different bass line than the other tracks, making it much aimed to dance floor with its complex and rich percussions rhythms. Curupira haves many deep elements, such electric piano stabs and occasional soft and short vocals which are perfectly complemented by the Roland type sounds in the base, giving this track a great old school vibe. The last and not least of the originals, No No, haves a very funky rhythm created from a really catchy string bass line. The No No vocals are perfectly integrated to the tech house base and the deep house piano, as main melodic element during the break, finishes giving this track a beautiful trip. The Italian producer Sandro Beninati, another new comer to Basswalk, remixed No No, giving it a purely tech house approach with a powerful and groovy bass line that can make the dance floor walls to tremble. He took the main base sounds from No No and re-work them in a way that when they are mixed with the ambience elements, serves as perfect tool to make this great remix to blow away very easily. Definitely a delightful ep full of different grooves and sounds to meet every taste.
